The crash happened on Route 6 in Somers between Clayton Boulevard and Mahopac Avenue on Thursday, May 2, the Carmel Police Department announced just before 12:30 p.m.

Carmel and Somers Police are now directing traffic in the area of the crash. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
